Kuyper Electrical Services was appointed Electrical Consulting Engineers to assist with refurbishing and upgrading the electrical network to a hardware store in Hammanskraal, Pretoria. Four electrical distribution boards were added, including the new Main LV distribution board.

The Main LV included metering to the adjacent shops for security and easy access.

UPS dedicated supplies were installed for the cash registers and other essentials like the IT equipment etc.

Backup power:

The backup power to the building is via a 40kVA 3phase UPS and a 160kVA 3phase generator. This ensures seamless operation of the shop during power outages and load shedding.

Lighting:

The LED lighting in the building allows for energy efficiency. An industrial look was adopted to provide a vibrant new feel to the hardware store. The shop was also equipped with emergency lighting feeding from the UPS.
